AP/DC Math: The Language of Problem-Solving

Upper Columbia Academy’s AP/DC Math program provides students with a rigorous and rewarding opportunity to deepen their mathematical understanding while earning college credits. From foundational concepts to advanced problem-solving, our courses challenge and inspire students to think critically, analyze patterns, and apply mathematical reasoning in real-world situations.

AP Calculus 

Class Maximum: 20 students, This course is ideal for sophomores with a strong passion for Math. Students will read diverse literary selections, including poetry, novels, and plays, while learning to craft well-structured essays and research papers in MLA format.
Prerequisites and Requirements:
One 200-word essay on why you want to take AP Calculus and why you are qualified to take it. 
Endorsement from precalculus or advanced math teacher in the form of a letter of recommendation or reference contact information.
